About the club

A movement,
quietly forming.

Vol. 01 · Issue 01Independent · non-commercialAustraliaForming — May 2026

What this is becoming

The essays are one half of the project. The people quietly making the same decision about their phones, their attention, and their evenings — and recognising themselves in the work — are the other.

A small, deliberate club is forming around it. Not online. Not in an app. Not on a feed. In real life.

§ II — What it isn't

Joined by recognising it.
Not by shouting.

Not a content paywall. Not a community Slack. Not a chapter-based meet-up network. Not a presence on any platform built to keep you scrolling.

The publication isn't going anywhere — the monthly essay continues. The aim of the club is twofold. First, to connect the people already living this way with the people who are trying to. Second, to seed a quiet movement — one that spreads by being noticed, not announced. The kind of thing that prompts a question rather than makes a declaration. A movement you join by recognising it, not by shouting about it.

When

When it's ready, and not before. If you're reading the essays, you're already part of what's coming.
